An incredibly comfortable dessert. Before trying it I would have thought soft serve wouldn't work well in a banana split - but in a way it's even better than normal ice cream because it's easier to get a spoonful with a nice balance of the ice cream and banana and toppings all in one mouthfull.

A fascinating Afghan bread (it really has nothing to do with pasta or pastries despite what the menu says) - made extremely flavorful with the leeks and cilantro and potatoes cooked in the middle.

The half-order that's available makes a great appetizer.

Surprisingly (to me) I found this a rather satisfying vegetarian sandwich. Between the whole wheat bread and a decent amount of avocado I sometimes get this when I want something less filling than Togo's very yummy pastrami.

Finally found a good quality iced latte that's big enough to be satisfying on a hot day!

It's very good; but IMHO their normal margarita's are better value per dollar.

Enough spices (parsley, garlic, salt?, butter?) to make them interesting.

A great idea for a sushi place to have vegitarian dishes. Between this and their Chicken Lettuce Tomato Roll you can even bring non-seafood lovers to this sushi place.

Prickly Pear cactus has an interesting flavor that works very well in a margarita.

Oooh I used to love these until I read the nutrition information on these things. 312% your daily fat. 180% your daily saturated fat. 265% of your daily sodium. I still order them when I'm in a large group, tho.

I actually think this is one of my favorite vegie meals. I think the trick is not to think of it as a burger but as a completely different vegie meal - which is surprisingly yummy.

One of the richest and most satisfying desserts I've ever tried.

This is a yummy dip. Pretty heavy so don't let the spinach trick you into thinking it's good for you.

Tastes totally unlike any other pizza I've had; but makes a great complement to other pizzas if you're ordering many of them for an event. Between this and the mexican pizza also available here you can order a bunch of pizzas and still have some nice variety.

My favorite vegetarian pizza I've had anywhere.

A surprisingly good pizza for not having any cheese. I had this once just to try something different; and was surprisingly pleased. Melt a bunch of cheese on it and it'd be great.

by rm about Panera Bread Greek Salad on June 29, 2007
A better than average salad in my opinion; with plenty of olives and enough cheese to make it satisfying. There was a lot of dressing, but it wasn't too tart or too rich or anything so this much dressing was a good thing rather than a bad thing.

by rm about Panera Bread Chocolate Raspberry Brownie on June 21, 2007
A great chocolatty brownie underneath - a thick layer of raspberry right over it (not too sweet, and tart enough to be fun on top of the extremely sweet brownie) - and white chocolate to add another layer of sweetness on top. That make a great combination with a wonderful layering of tastes.

by rm about Panera Bread Portobello & Mozzarella on June 20, 2007
More filling than most vegie sandwiches, thanks to the mushrooms and molten cheese. It's a bit oily - can't tell if that's due to the vinaigrette or the molten cheese. But it tastes good.

by rm about Panera Bread I.C. Cappuccino Chip on March 20, 2007
Yummy! Now this is a coffee drink. It's richness (it's largely half&half) puts coffee drinks from all the coffee houses to shame; but you pay for it in fat.
With more that 100% of the daily recommended Saturated Fat
( http://www.panerabread.com/menu/nutrition/profile.php?id=58 ) I don't want to drink these too often; but they can be hard to resist. A bit scary how much fat's in them; but I do give Panera credit for letting us know.

This is a nice light meal. It's my favorite dish there when I'm not very hungry.
